I have two guns right now, a tippmann 98C, super r/t, q-loader, flatline barrel, polished internals. the second is an automag, intelleframe, lvl 10 bolt, q-loader, jj ceramic barrel, might get an x-valve. I have about 3 or 4 hundred spare and want to get a new tank. The tippmann is my woodsball gun and the automag is for speedball and hyperball. both will have the tanks mounted under grip. I need it somewhat small but want at least 500 ball per tank. I have a flatline, 48ci 3000psi right now and want to get something else. What would you guys recomend for both setups or for one or the other? want to get a feel for some good choices. and why?

thanks guys

70/45 stubby or 45/45

crossfires are my preffered preset

Crossfire has a great recharge rate and probably the best for the presets. If you would like an adjustable screw-in, looking into the Nitroduck X-Stream. As far as 500 shots, any 45/45 will net you ATLEAST 500 if not 700-800 on a full fill.

My friend has a crossy 88 stub and that thing is pretty small. I think it gets above a thousand per full fill. Or go for the Mini Maxflow with a 45/45 bottle. Both would be great choices and wouldn't starve either gun.

Is your flatline reg a 3000 psi or 4500 psi model? either way, i'd just upgrade the bottle to a 68 cu size of that pressure. I have a flatline reg, and I love it. I don't see why you would go from a reliable, adjustable reg, to an unsure, preset reg. You'll save some money too probably. I'm sure there are some dealers who sell tanks, who have bottles separated from regs. Ask tuna. :P

PS: even your current tank should be getting over 500 shots on a mag. My flatline gets me around 550-600 on my emag, and its a 45/45 filled to just under 3k. I'd check your marker, make sure there isnt a leak or something.

My flatline is a premounted version. its a 45ci/ 3000. since i have two guns i wanted a second tank for quick switch between woodsball and speedball.
What about a really hightend tank like a macdev or angelair, is there really any advantage or what?
