hey, when i shoot quickly on my emag it seems to be chuffing more than it should (its once about every 8-12 shots). input is set at 800, 1000 psi in the tank right now. i recently got a tunablade too. any quick ideas? im just trying to save a bit of time before i go mess around with it.
thanks

Your tank reg is starving the marker due to the low pressure in your tank.

Yes, I heard that emags had some disfunctionment when the tank reach 1000 psi.

i'm not sure if the problem will persist with a full tank. any suggestions if it does?

I had a simular problem with my X I adjusted the trigger to actuate the solenoid and then stop in E mode. I backed it out a little and whoala it worked great. But from your post RT style mags don't like to be under 800-1000 psi. I would suggest a 68 4500 psi tank to keep you in the game longer.......

You might be seeing the dreaded Full-auto issue. raise your shot buffer up from 4 to say 10 and lower your bps to 15 and see how the gun acts.
My xmag was doing the same thing with the Xmod software, then I realised it was trigger bounce from the FA problem.

i'd do that, but since i had some other problems and i ran out of air, i decided to send it to tuna for a tun-up

I have the same problem with my Xvalve Emag, when my tank gets around 1k PSI, and I fire fast the lvl10 freaks and doesn't function right. But if I keep it in mechanical mode I have no problems b/c I am not firing that fast.
I agree with the above post it's b/c the tank reg is starving the Xvalve, the more pressure in the tank the better the tank reg will regulate, I have a 88cu, 45k, Pure Energy stubby.

Possibly just not enough pressure to overcome the lvl10 spring. You could also put the smaller one in, and go deeper into the tank.
