I have had mags for years but I just got my first e-mag a few weeks ago. I am still rather unfamiliar with the electronics side of this whole thing.
I was just on pbnation and saw someone talking about tuning the HES. Wasn’t too much info there, but it was enough to peak my curiosity. How is it done?

Also what are anyone’s preferences about trigger stiffness?

EDIT:
I figured I would explain why I put this in the talk forum. Yes, I am asking a technical question to begin with, but I want to know what others preferences are...
:How do you like your trigger?
:Medium rare. :tard:

There is no tuning of the HES. To tune the emag trigger, set the pull weight with the top magnets till you like it. Then you need a little space, then the shot, then a little space after the shot. If you don't do it this way it will be unreliable.

That's kind of what I figured because I could never find any adjusting points to the HES. Thanks Tunaman.

So... how do you all have your trigger magnets set up?

Tunaman,
I never heard back from you regarding a quote about having some work done. I asked about a tunablade, tunapack, and a reanno job.

I think most people just set their triggers as light as they can, while leaving it legal, and then from there it is personal preference on how long you want your pull. Mine is real short, but i'm thinking of lengthening it.
