Last i heard in illinois that it was fixed to not effect paintball

Nothing detrimental at this point from what I have seen. There have been “close calls” but not by intent, only poor verbiage which was immediately changed.

There has been far more weeping and nashing of teeth than any issues that have gotten far enough to pose a threat. As Shartley noted those few threats on the criminal law side have not been by intent but by poor wording.

The civil side.. I don't know. Last I understood it (and I'm not sure I ever did) a judge had ruled that SP and WDP shared the "electro" patent and WDP was making it available at a "reasonable" price to manufacturers. Take that with a grain of salt as I really don't know.

Id love to know what a "Reasonable price" is. I heard that SP was looking for $200k for a license, but that was 2-3 years ago.

I had heard, and I imagine it was rumor and speculation, both the 10K and 50K numbers.
