I wonder why the choices are always SO extreme....

I think they can help some markers, and can even at a minimum add a bit of styling in overall looks. But for me, I would say that it all depends on both the actual marker setup and the preference of the owner.

So, I would vote both yes and no... but had to go with (guess which) as a default. :)

The only reason I would ever buy a sight rail is for cosmetic purposes. Other than that, you don't really need it(unless mounting a scope). Like Shartley said, it can help to add a stylish touch to your marker.

I think, a sight rail looks verry cool ...
But I will only buy this (http://www.manuelknorr.de/Sightrail01.jpg) one. But I canīt find it anywhere :(

I don't really like them, plus they don't serve a purpose.

For some odd reason my RTPro just looks plain goofy without the stock RTPro sight rail on there. Now I know why AGD put it there.

Manuel_FZR,

I don't know if its exactly what you are looking for, but I was surfing over at 888 paintball and they have rails that look very close to that pic. They are smart parts rails and they have them splashed but no solid colors. Hope this helps.
