Ok so far I have about $120 in paper weights, I bought a System X Slider, Orings blow out even when they are oild and I put thicker tighter fitting ones on. Hybrids push button. The Hybrid Push Button, isn't even a true On/Off the crappy anodizing comes right off, and the pin dosn't come out far enough and is off center and bent my MacDev tank and ruined the threads, it no longer screwes into any ASA correctly anymore. The Check It on/off actually works but it takes a pair of vice grips to turn the knob when the air is pressurized. I learned no more buttons and no more products from Hybrid :cuss: My question is are there any good direct mount on/offs out there because I've spent nearly $200 on complete crap.

Check-its.
Try greasing the threads to see if that helps. Mine are pretty smooth and effortless to turn

I like the shocker on/off. Its the easiest one to turn. Also like the Cp.

I second the 05 CP, smoothest on/off I ever used. You can find them for around $35-$45 online. Not many on/offs offer bleed air and if you are shooting a mag it is a must.

Cp on/offs is all my brother and I use. They look nice and function great. Easy to turn off under pressure...

I'm a big fan of the new shocktech on/off. The Eclipse ones too.

I've had zero problems with my pushbutton hybrid... I would have to say the new CP on/off's, new Shocktech on/off, and from what I gather, the AKA on/off are all good stuff.

My favorite asa is made by critical. Its just a basic asa that hangs back a little making my setup long just how i like it, and the macro fitting is straight out the front so it doesnt get in the way of my wrists. I can play really tight with it ive found.

CP 2K5 On/Off. I think this thread is now 2:1 CP vs. everything else. For good measure, I'll suggest the CP four times, since after buying the first I wound up putting them on all my other markers.

There is NO comparison. Quarter turn, no resistance, and it completely bleeds the airline when you degas.

They're a blessing for ULT'd Mags. If you short stroke the ULT and the Level 10 doesn't reset, you can twist the on/off both directions in a second to completely cycle the air supply out of the marker and seat the bolt.

If that's the rule then I'm in for at least a dozen.

Thank goodness I'm a CP dealer. :)

We just got CP and CCM accounts at work and I've gotta say both are very nice. The CP can be turned on and off with one finger. I love mine. The CCM is very nice too. Check-it makes a solid on/off but they're terribly hard to turn and a real pain in the reverse to put them on.

I've got one of the new AKA on/offs and I haven't used it yet. I don't know what to expect, anybody have/use one?

I like the Evil on/off. A little big by current standards, but very reliable.

CP 2k5 this thing is so easy to turn on off it almost moves too freely!

I have one of the direct mount CP on/offs. I really really really like it but I can't use it since both my tanks just happen to sit so the fill nipple is right in the way and if I back it off enough to get it out of the way it comes degassed and overall doesn't offer enough pressure.

CP.....the best i have used so far......but what about the smart parts on off?

Pha|anx

Smart Parts on/offs do not bleed therefore making it a pain to get the tank off.

ICD makes a good on/off. It is easy to turn on and off. It doesnt bleed but itsn not always good to have an on/off bleed. If you want a nonbleeding on/off I cant think of a nicer one.

I've used CP, CCM, New Designz and Check-it Uni Mount. The CP is by far the best. So smoooth and positive. The CCM's are nice and light but much harder to turn. The ano seems to be very thin and wears quickly.
