Having trouble finding an exploded view of an x-valve? Here's one:

Not an X-valve, but the basic idea of a mag:

WHAT DOES AN X-VALVE DO FOR YOU ANYWAYS? DOES IT HELP YOU SHOOT FASTER, CAN YOU USE IT FOR A MINIMAG? :cuss:

turn your caps off. the x-valve shoots faster do to bounce, im not sure if its less then a ReTro lke i have, but that bounce gets you shooting mad fast. also it has zero drop off under rapid fire and ONLY runs on nitro. and yes it drops right in on a mini-mag

it has a faster recharge rate, only is reccomended to run on HPA (nitro, lol) it is much lighter than an RT Valve or minimag valve, as well.

btw, no caps lock.

is the xvalve the fastest out of the valves? is it worth buying? it is rather freaking expensive, (more than my minimag) :wow:

the x-valve is the fastest AGD valve i believe. Its also light weight and looks sweet. Just pick up a used one, you know how reliable AGD products are.

not sure if this is the right place to ask questions but... the guy before me did so i will too..
here is a pic of my mag now i need to know if i need the Regular or Reversed bolt.
http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n297/youaremysweet666/IM000323.jpg

ALSO doesnt it come w/the LVL:10 in it?

reversed bolt? im not sure what you mean. There are reversed valves (the air connects on the oppposite side), but i haven't heard of a reversed bolt.

Also the mag in the picture does not have an x-valve. It might have a level 10 if someone has installed one on it; otherwise you'd need to buy a level 10 bolt and install it.

I am assuming that the part labled # 5 is the shim that you add more of to shoot faster. Is it very hard to get to this area. I have a new tac one and would like to shorten the trigger pull so I do not short stroke it as much.

no, no, #5 is the shim that deals with the Level 10. The shims that change trigger pull are in the ULT (on/off)

Does the ULT come with the Xvalve?

How does the intelli frame work?
Sorry to sound stupid but, can someone please explain.

What is the potential (bps) with the Xvalve, ULT and IntelliFrame?

Thanks

ULT does not come on a standard x-valve, but i think it comes with a Tac-One marker from AGD

Intelliframe has a switch in it (that you install) and you link it to your electric hopper, so when you pull the trigger the hopper spins - meaning whenever you shoot, the balls will be feeding.

you can get 'bounce' or rapid fire with a mech gun (up to 15-20bps) with high input pressure. It is illegal at most fields tho. With just semi, no bounce, you can shoot pretty fast as well, depending on how much you mod your trigger, you can get up to probably 5-10bps.

This is the only pic I've ever seen of a ULT, had to search for it.

BTW, that pic is outdated, here's an X-valve:

Nice exploded view Nate.

Number 29 is this....http://store.airgun.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=catalog.prodInfo&productID=114&categoryID=23

Reg nut or velocity adjust, same thing. :argh:

If this is true which it is then number 25 cant be the reg nut as it says. :(

Number 25 is really this.Regulator Piston Assembly. http://store.airgun.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=catalog.prodInfo&productID=112&categoryID=23

What is a QEV?
I understand that MPA-3 is a part# for the Clippard cylinder.

refering to the pnuematic-triggered mag diagram.

Can a lvl 7 bolt be used with parts 3-10?

Is an X Valve compatible with parts 11-14?

Thanks!

No and No.
 No and Yes?

The X valve can use a level 7 bolt and its parts (11-14), it's just not standard. The level 10 bolt doesn't work with 11-14, and you can't use a level 7 bolt with 3-10.

Right, Rogue?

Gah, if only this had come up a few days ago. I looked all over of an animation of how mags work. Luckily, the good guys on MCB gave me one, but these are much better. Good thread for a mag noob!

i guess so, but you can just look at the retro valve (http://www.airgundesignsusa.com/downloads/retroexploded1.pdf) and lvl 10 (http://www.airgundesignsusa.com/xmag/html/lvl10.html) to get the same thing. here's another x-valve diagram (http://www.pblegion.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=121&stc=1&d=1222976503).

Ah rats. I wanted to see carnage.

I somehow read the title as "My xvalve exploded (here)" . Funny how adding a word changes the expectation of the thread.
