View Full Version : Help ID'ing an old Mag

Flipping through a 2002 catalog, I glanced at this ad. I quickly did a double take, and realized I had no clue what it was. Any help? The body and rail seem to be squared :tard:

Actually I think they air brushed out a sticker on the SS body for the picture.

It looks distinctly squared from the front (near the barrel). I'm pretty sure it's not a stock SS

No, it's a round body with a bad photoChop job.

It does look like they ground down the dove tail mounts on the side of the rail though.

the actual mag's body, i can promise you, was round. what airbrushing they may have done to it...i dont know...but i know the body is actually round.

They apparent grinding down or polishing of the rail isn't there either. It's part of the photo editing job...

probably a sticker for someone who didn't pay for advertising space in the mag

its only called photochop when it isnt used correctly, and here is a prime example of someone who called them selves a graphic designer just because the had a free version of photoshop...and somehow got a job at that magazine..
