I have recentaly emailed my local field manager about purchasing an air system, i asked whether it was Co2 or Nitrogen. He replyed and said it was neither, it was an air system. What does he mean by this?
Sorry if this is a stupid question or if it has been asked before.

uh...its good to get air, but you didn't mention a price or specs on what your getting ;)

air is meuch better if the place you play can fill it, which it sounds like they can. You can also get a scuba tank for about 80$ and fill your own tank. i can get about 10 fills out of my scuba, and it only costs 6$ to fill.

when most people say nitrogen theyr refering to compressed air anyways(80% nitrogen)

all it is is the air you are breathing

$6 a fill..ouch..most places are $5 for all day air..

6$ to fill my scuba....i mostly play at private feilds in peoples back yards, or rec, so there is no-one supplying the air....if you play at a field most of the time, a scuba probably isnt worht it

is it new? if its used: tanks need to be hydro tested every 5 years, so if its not new, thats something to consider...it costs about 20-30 to hydro test a tank.

also what size is it? if it fiberwrapped or steel?

100 doesnt seem like to bad a deal if its new and fiberwrapped....if you look on the misc for sale items on here, you can get an idea for what they are used...if you can affors new, i would get new. You can get a new 3000/47 steel tank on ebay for about $70, but the steel tanks are alot heavier.

also, if you get it, get a tank cover

I know it's new but I don't think its fibre wrapped. I think it is 3500psi. I'll try and find out and get back to you, but it won't be untill tomorrow.

if its not fiber wrapped, and is 3000 psi, you could probably find a better deal somewhere else.

ok, bearing in mind i live on the UK and they charge a hell of a lot more than in the US, but i cannot really buy from the US because of the shipping. ill shop around and see. also when he says air system i don't know whether it is just the tank or any other bits aswel
