View Full Version : Halo B vs. Reloader B: What's the relationship?

I've been looking at both the halo B and the reloader B lately. They appear extremely similar, except that the halo B uses an "eye" and the reloader B uses a "sound sensor" to activate the motor.

Does anyone know what the relationship is between these two loaders, or the companies that make them? Are they both licensed from the same design? They use the same case, so there has to be something going on behind the scenes there.

Thanks,

I am not sure if Empire pays royalty to Oddessy( I know I spelled it wrong ) or not....

The only differences I really know are what you have already pointed out and that the Reloader has a speed selection on the stock board.

reloader b's come stock with rip drive. Halos can come with or without them

Main difference is the adctivation method. Halo's eyes vs. Reloader's vibration sensor.

Thanks for the answer guys. Does any know anything more about the business relationship between Odessey and Empire as concerns the 2 loaders? (like who originated the design)

Thanks,

Odyssey doesn't really 'exist' as a company, at least not anymore. It's all National Paintball Supply. The Halo/Reloader Bs are two versions of the exact same thing made by the same company.\

Oddessy was the original designer of the Halo, Halo B and a couple other loaders. They then in some form likely licensed the halo design to Empire.
