i sent my e-mag to Anno-Tech in california....they did an awesome job....I think it was $115 for a 2 color fade. Turn around was a bit slow...but it was worth it

A+ didn't do the job I had hoped for and it wasn't close. Resent everything off to PK Selectives in California. If told it shipped out back to me today. I know they had some problems with mine. I guess I'll see what it looks like when I get it. My luck hasn't been good lately, but I hope that is behind me.

Isn't A+ the shop that does the anno for AGD? I was planning on having mine redone also very soon.

A+ burned Tunaman recently, I think.

I'm pretty sure he said 'Its PK selectives from here on out.'

(could be wrong.)

A+ does some of AGD's work or has in the past. I'm not so sure how much they really do. PK Selectives did my Emag originally. Number to reach them at is 408-988-3867

I've heard good things about Absolute Finish, but have no personal experience
They do paintball specifically too

Why is A+ so Expensive? They charge more for the body than say Absolute finish or Ano Tech. Do they use a super duper type 2? or are all type 2 finishes the same?

I just got my Karta back from PK Selectives. Everyone said "it will never match my original two color fade". A+ said, "it was close enough and it couldn't be done any better". Well they were WRONG! PK did an outstanding job of matching. One would think the Emag came with the Karta stock. I'm very impressed and pleased. I might now have the most expensive Karta ever ( just shy of $700 total now :wow: ), but it looks top notch! I got to find away to post some pic's of this. I'll see if one of my friends have a digital camera this weekend.

I know they did the fancy Emags. Most likely did the X's also.

On the karta it is easy to remove it. A light clip and a metal ring. I forgot to remove it when I sent it to A+. So I called A+ to tell them to remove it before they anodized it. They didn't, but it didn't melt. I made sure it was out when it what to PK.
A ULE body is difficult. I know Tuna posted something about it being next to impossable and only a few people could even do it.

It seems I am in the minority, but I had a great experience with A+ Anno. They did an ice fade where it is a continuous blue fade from back (medium blue) to the middle (light blue) and the front (clear ) on one of my shockers. I priced the same job at FBM and one other place (cant remember now) and they were all about the same ($20 difference from high to low). They communicated great with me. I was told two weeks and I had it back in my hands in 8 days. I had a special request with my new detents due to a thin outer wall and they did a great job.

I have no clue how to post pics here so here is a link to it on another site

(I am not sure if it will work for you if you are not registered). Again, this is the only experience I have with any anno but I am very happy, price was fair, and I would not hesitate in using them again as I have the sweetest looking (and thats what is important of course  ) stock shocker I have seen. My mag is sweet too, thanks rogue. Good luck and God Bless.

I'm glad you got it the color you want. THere are several different dyes out there and while we are the only people that will take the time to try and match your color it isn't always possible to get it exact. Close to one person may not be be others. Obviously you weren't satisfied. Not that it matters but out of the 1000's of markers we do a year we only have a few (2or3) people who aren't satisfied. I would be willing to refund your money. Even though you trashed my company on line. Anodizing is not like paint, you can't mix and add different colors until you get a match. And it takes hours to re-do a part not a couple minutes. You will always get better results if get it done at the same place it was done origially because they are using the same dye and process. PK does excellant work, we get many of there customers because there service is usually slow. THe reason I started this company was because I sent something to them and it took several months to get it back and it was totally the wrong color. But let me know how much we charged you and I'll send you a refund. But please stop bad mouthing us online. We have 1000's of very happy customers.

Here is the current reply from A+ to me. If I do get a refund that I never asked for mind you. That would be nice.

My final thoughts on the matter: A+ vrs PK in my resent experiance. Just the basic facts.
1. A+'s 1 week vrs PK's 2 weeks
2.A+ not close at all on my color vrs PK's perfect color match and highly polished like the original parts
3.A+ was $14 cheaper w/shipping than PK's total cost with shipping.
4.A+ better comunication via email and phone than PK IMO
5.Both places friendly enough though on the phone
6.In the end only one place got the job done and done so I was happy.

Having friends, other ballers at the pb store and even just tonight walk up on my back porch to comment on it giving it a thumbs up= Priceless :D Thanks PK!!

Anyone ever seen a Black Chromed paintball marker?
you will in about 2 months.

A buddy of mine who just opened a polishing and chroming shop for sport bikes is going to try to black chrome my emag for me. I think it will look sick as hell as ive never seen anything like it.

its the Black-Sheep Mag!!
