Help my identify these

Ok, I got this MiniMag from my cousin a while ago, he used to play back in the day =P anyway I was wondering what the black box on the valve was and what it does. Currently I run CO2 on my mag =P and it works perfectly with it.

I have another older marker from Benjamin-Sheridan, it's heavy as hell, I was wondering what kind of marker it was, if anyone can help me out, thanks

That black box is a Smart Parts Magic Box. It was made to be a low pressure chamber, but it dosn't work, it just starves the gun and makes it always have dropoff, you should take it off and get a dummy cap to replace where its at. I will give you $5 for it to use it on my stingray if you want :D. I don't have any idea what kind of gun that is though, sorry.

I guess neither of you two have been around paintball long? That second marker is a PMI-3 or VM-68 same marker they just changed the name. I beleve it was the first stacked tube blowback semi. It is the ancestor to the syder and all itly clones, the angel, bm2k, and a lot of other markers. Classic, built like a tank, and about as heavy as one too.

Depends on what you mean a long time lol. I have been playing seriously for about 2 years. I used to have a PG-1 Pro which was a VM-68 knockoff, it weighed about 5-8 pounds, had the removable powerfeed, took VM-68 barrels and lp chambers, and some other stuff. Bought it for $20, sold it for $60 lol.

Well I guess what you concider a "long time" does matter. I played my first game in '91, and the PMI-3 was the first marker I really wanted. I bought my first marker in '98 and have play pretty much constantly since. And even thought I've played on and off for 10 years some people would still concider me a "newbie" :)

I started with a VM-68, It's still somwhere in my closet, they are heavy as a tank, and guzzle co2 like there's no tomorrow!!! And even now I see at least one person playing with one of them at the field!!!
