Hey, does anyone have pics of a Mag with a Deadlywind Chord V2 body or a Dallara body?
Im starting a project and wanted to see how either of those bodies look on actual guns.

Thanks

the Dallara body is the best looking i think :D ..... i think they should have a lip in the front like the katra (SP :tard: ) for those with e-mags!!

I think this is a Chord V2 :

I have a Chord V1 :

And I just bought the V2 mag in the 1st pic.

Man I love cords. I like the milling shape of the V1 but I wish it came over the valve like the v2. Best all around Deadlywind has to be the karta with karta rail.

And darkfrost, you made me lol so hard. In the seinfeld(sp) that I just saw kramer kept talking about a mystical force called Katra.

Yes, they should be marked underneath the body near the sear slot. Matching rails sold with bodies should also be marked near the hole for the rail bushing.

Yes 98% of Dallaras were numbered with matching rails. Rails sold seperatly may or may not have been marked. One or two of the first Dallaras and one or two of the most recent ones did not get marked.

Does yours have dimples on the side? and does the tail extend just past the rail length?
If yes to both of these, you probably have #002, which was the first one sold (I still have #001 :) )

Here's my baby. No numbers on the body or rail, but I have dimples and the body is just a few mm shorter than the rail. Possible #002? The rail is not ule milled.

If i remember correctly, #002 was anodized with a fade (blue to silver?) after it was bought.

If the body is longer the rail, it is one of the very first few (maybe 5?).

If it has dimples, it is most likely one of the first few (maybe 10-12?) but there were about 3 other ones that had custom-requested dimples in the middle-to-late serial number range.

If there is no serial number, it is either one of the first few (3??) or one of the most latest ones (2-3??).

I have the first one made (with dimples and no number). The body on mine is shorter than the rail because I re-chucked it up later to run the first test of the shorter tail program.

There are currently around 48 to 50 body+rail sets out in the wild.

out!

I recall you saying you got the first public offered Dallera. I didn't think you'd see the thread to back up any assertion I made so I let it be...
