Blue crossfire = LP tank.

You need to be using a HP tank, I dont know if that was just a pose shot, but if your using a LP tank, thats your problem.

regardless of what the first shot was, the rest were all the same - too low.

Try turning up the velocity. Can't hurt. It can only not work.

if it consistantly goes bang once you have a bad reg seat.

The first picture - the thing in the center is the reg seat.

Remember something though - Once you open up the reg you almost always have to replace the reg seat. Sometimes itll work if you use the same one, but not usually.

thats actually not a bad back there, thats a diamond labs titanium back end, i had one of those and traded it in for $100 off my x-valve.

I wish diamond labs was still around...

But they ended up being a short live "make money and run" business. They had a lot of stuff you couldnt get anywhere else.

im gonna change out the seat right now ........ thanks for all the help guys ......... but if it still chuffs then what could it be??

sniper1rfa
04-22-2006, 02:56 PM
Well, its not the chuffing that is the reason for changing out the seat - its because the seat is leaking (hence the couple hot shots followed by it stabilizing lowe and chuffing).

If it JUST chuffs after you change out hte seat, turn the velocity up. If it does the "bang chuff chuff" thing, you've got me stumped.
