Tom, this is a message directed at you and all you worked with.

For months I have been trying to develop a rotating magazine (drum) and here you have one on the FN303 that you at least had some hand in. does it only work because of the fin shape on the back of the balls or could you make it work with paintballs.
though what i really wanna know is how did you make it rotate after every shot.

thanks, Cowboy.

anyone else with ideas is very much so welecome to post as well.

Bye the way you load it looks like it works more like a Qloader than a rotating drum. IMHO

manike has a FN-303, and I believe Muzikman has one as well. Try PM'ing them about the drum mag. If I had to guess, it probably works on a clock spring.

If you zoom in on the picture you will see grooves at about a 45 deg. angle. It works like a revolver. I think the action is being provided by a RT type valve with a larger piston.

I havent had the opturtunity to learn the double action revolvers mechanics (or to spell)

can you please explain it a little bit, what makes it turn consistently?

thanks.

Good eye.

From this angle you can see the ratcheting piston with the gas tube.
