The ULT is compatible with Automags, MiniMags, E-Mags, or X-Mags. However, installation and use of the ULT with these markers is not recommended

I really want a ult but AGD says that is not recommended. The question i have is what problems can it cause?

The ULT gives a 2/3 force reduction on resetting the sear assembly.

On the Emag/Xmag, the sear also has the solenoid plunger assembly attached. It's alot more weight. The ULT doesn't have the UMPH that the regular assembly does to reset the sear as quickly or at all.

Automag/Minimag (any classic valve)- the same 2/3 force reduction is in place, however it's reducing a smaller amount of force. The classic valve on/off sees 450psi. The Xvalve on/off gets 800+. 2/3 of 800 is ok. 2/3 of 450 is REALLY small. So the sear can not fully reset which can lead to short stroking or half-firing a ball down the barrel due to an incomplete recharge of the valve.

Some people say that adding shims will help with recharge. In reality, all it does it shorten the effective pin length. (Cuz you are moving the sealing point of the pin & the oring). It doesn't help with how fast the on/off will recharge or reset the sear. 2/3 of 450 is still 2/3 of 450- no matter what.
