I know this may not be the place to ask.. but it happened to be the board I was on when teh idea occured to me. Yes I lurk here very regularly.
Normally I (KM2) modified the LCD Angel by interrupting the trigger and using a small PIC chip to proxy for it. It occured to me I could use that same chip not to proxy, but to act as the on/off manager for a warp feed.
It would "watch" (NOT interrupt) the trigger, and simply turn the warp feed on/off at appropriate times. Leaving it on for a good 1/3second afer firing, for example.
It would be a small, unintrusive mod that would work for any electro gun, and run the warp feed without relying on any sensors.
