Does anyone at AGD know if you have an old RT(#163) can it be made into an E-Mag and for how much?

Wow... thats an old RT. But anyway, I know they did it at least once.... I saw a pic posted here a while ago. They may still be doing them, but I dont know.

No, they are not converting RTs to e-mags.

lol is the emag valve the exact same thing as the RT valve btw?

The Emag valve, RT Pro, Retro Valve are all the same. However, these are not the same as the "old school" RT valves.

RTs have a gas through body rail, and the valve gets air right from the rail, where the retro (used is rt pro and e-mag) gets air from a hose the same way as the classic and minimag valve.

so how come u can achieve higher bps rates with emag than a retro valve on a minimag? is it cause of the electronic trigger? Probably :/

sorry for posting again, but if you buy an electronic frame does that mean you can make your gun shoot as fast as an emag with the rt valve then?

The differance between a retro mag and an e-mag is that the e-mag is electro. The e-mag is alot better than any aftermarket frame however, and has alot of features that those don't.

you know of a good electronic frame that goes on a mag that makes it come close to an emag, i already have RT valve on it

There are not electric frames for the rt.

nono rt valve on an automag, will i really get emag performance if i get that?

PyRo

Ok, there are three differant valves
Rt- Only in the rt, will not work in any other gun
Retro- Works in all mags exept the RT
Stock- Works in all mags exept the RT
(e-mag retro has a slightly differant on-off which can be changed for use in regular mags)
I don't think that any of the electro frames work with the retro. If any do, by the time you buy a retro, and the frame you could have just sold your gun and bought an e-mag for not much more.

not really if u look at it... i spent 300 on a used minimag, trade in mag valve for retro valve 200, electronic frame 170 thats 670 bux compared to 1000 for an emag

$900 for an e-mag.
$200 more, you get a much better gun. Its more reliable than an aftermarket frame will ever be, it has the manual mode, if anything ever goes wrong with it, AGD has great customer service.

whats the point of spending 300 on your mag, ur saying that the first gun you buy would have to be an emag, save up for 900 bux. I'd rather buy a mag then keep upgrading it, not buy a mag so i can sell it later for a lower price and buy an emag. thats like giving up or something i dont know how to quite explain it :(

Replaceing the valve, and grip are giving up :) Thats almost a whole new gun right there. Keep the one you have now, and buy a e-mag.

not as many experts using emags as autocockers :( my job pays 5 bux an hour!
