I was talking to my friends the other day and I said "Hey guys what is something that you guys value more now than before" They all answered with "Trigger fingers" Now please don't copy my idea, because if you do you will be cursed with bad acne and irreversible bad breath. :nono:

I came up with an idea to have portable finger massage/warmers. Only for your index and middle fingers. It will simply slide on and relax your finger muscles and help improve your rate of fire. I haven't told this to anyone only you guys. My original idea was to sell stimulant pills that would alter your nervous system and give you uncontrollable twitches in your fingers and help produce high ROF, but I like the Ravishing finger warmers better.

Tell me what you guys think? Succes or No success?

Comon you never heard of Marketing?? You know " Super Nasa space material" "Approved by doctors to promote healthy fingers" etc. The kids and parents will eat this stuff.

As a matter of fact, has anyone here had any far out ideas to include into this sport? example: Rocket packs, xray goggles etc.

If it's proven to work, I'm sold. I'm right handed, but that hand is ungodly slow compared to my left hand.

That got me laughing!

But on your idea there....it may be a little sketchy. Idk, maybe if it actually worked and made a difference.

I figured if someone was really hard core they could put electrodes into their tendons on their forearm to make the fingers twitch really fast… have a ramping boarded hand.

except it wouldnt fit on my recently broken trigger finger:

I haven't been able to walk a trigger for about a week now - or go paintballing or anything too physical. at least it doesnt hurt much at all :argh:

if yer gonna go that far, why not have them connected to your marker so that if the eyes don't detect a ball, or they detect a break, then you stop shooting. maybe even give you a little electric shock to let you know. i guess they would have to be connected wirelessly tho unless you want cables comin out of your arm, but if thats the case then you mite have problem with people "hacking" your arm  :headbang: lol

Well, I think your ingenious idea came around 2 (has it been 2?) years of ramping to late..

However, if your ingenious idea will stop at nothing until it takes over the notorious paintballing finger world, you might as well market it to people like Doc, nearly hibernating up there in alaska. I'm sure their fingers may have needed some warm apple pie here or there.

Something more effective woule be to come up with a small plastic/metal device that would help people actually improve the speed of their fingers through excercising certain muscles.

Forget the wireless, just use a plug and play system like the intellifeed! Have a little plug in your wrist and a small wire coming out of the trigger frame and you are set!

I wonder... you know the term "muscle memory"...

I wonder if you actually did shock your finger muscles into contracting and retracting, really fast, if you would increase your finger speed just by sitting there shocking yourself.

yea, i was considering that too, but then you'd get into all sorts of trouble if you like... dropped your marker or something hahahah

Actually how fast can human fingers twitch in the distance needed to click a micro switch. If you got the fingers moving too fast there could be some dwell issues and the fingers would not twitch forward far enough to pull the trigger before they are told to go back again.

you people...need serious medication.

Your talking about fast twitch muscle tissue required for trigger speed. You can develop finger strength quite easily but speed....you pretty much have it or you don't.

Nowadays you don't need either regardless , you can either ramp , bounce or outright cheat. Until you get to the higher divisions of tourny ball know one really checks anyway. It's opened up cheating to a WHOLE new level. Half the kids on the fields I go to are shooting at the speed of their loaders , BIG RED is a joke for checking ROF and the there's no possible way to verify on the feild anyway.

Anyway....

Bro, you have another hand. Perfect chance to get better with it. At worst you're playing slightly above the pump level.

I like the idea. Is it just for working out? Or could it be like the excersize bike that atheletes use to keep warmed up and not cramp up?

I guess it is kind of pointless trying to work on speed.. I mean gosh all I have to do is hold the trigger and turn on my gun, then press it till the button turns purple, hold it for 2 seconds and then fire 5 times, then restart my gun and I can ramp ramp ramp away!
