View Full Version : Help with a trigger pull game

Our team recently made a website but now we need to find a reason for people to go to it. To make a long story short i am building one of those trigger simulators and I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for good functions. Im planning on adding ramping modes, adjustable bounce settings and the like. I actually like the simplicity of that one more than most others. You should add a sound to the shot, and make make it shoot a paintball.

Heh, consistent 12's with my right hand, consistant 8-9 with my left, and then a 14??? maybe I had madd mouse bounce :bounce:

Only works with IE. I tried Firefox first and then Netscape, no dice. I gotta get on another puter to test it on Opera. Im assuming no go

Ohhh. Yeah that's it, i have Firefox. it's working with IE :clap:

edit- hit 14, i just couldn't hit 15! Had to be some sort of barrier from keeping me to hit 15 :p

17, but I don't think the program is reliable. Plus with a mouse it's easier because you can use 3 fingers.

All the technological advancement in paintball and we're still using poorly designed grips with ineffective triggers. Some better than others, of course, but still poor in general.

I think I busted my mouse at work today playing that, cos the left mouse button ain't clicking so well.

i peaked at 17... apparently...

rather than have the counter reset to 0 every few seconds (even tho i'm still pulling) why not just have it show the current rate? that way you can know what your currently pulling and what yer max speed was.

ill put in the current rate rather than the nuumber of clicks per second. and let me know if anyone has trouble loading it because i think i fixed my html loading code but im not sure

id add a sound, but no ball.
If your looking to do something more origional, have a first person view (IE=marker in bottom right corner, simulationg being held in your hand, a DPB kind of view) then have the marker shoot a ball down range every time you shoot, so you can see the stream of paint your shooting. Just a thought, its different.

-I hit 17 quick and stayed there, and to think, i dont even play semi anymore....

but im on a laptop and the mouse is... not walkable at all and i can only use one finger. :D

That sounds like a good idea, ill have to see if I can do it within the frame rate I have since people are hitting over 14 bps. ill definitly add a sound since so many people think its good. I always thought it was tacky but i guess i can just add a mute button
