it was the v force morph i believe, just a bit bigger than the profiler.. still an awesome mask

Yes, this is one of the first profilers. My guess is that these ones were assembled, ie, the yellow part was mounted in the black part of the mask, instead of injection molding. With injection molding they use a mold with 2 caveties. The 1st. step they inject the black plastic into one half, then open the mold and rotate the half with the part into the other half. Then finally they inject the soft parts and a mask is born!

Also there were some minor modifications to the final design. They added an extra rib in the slats on the front of the mask, and the metal plate on the side was first riveted, and is now put in place by hooks that go trough the rubber and bent flat.

Yep prototype profilers... I still like those better than the new ones they look less goofy
