Are electro guns just fugly? Ive been doing some lurking about on the interweb and honestly I dont think I find any electros (save E/Xmags) attractive. I feel like the body lines are conflicting, or they are too tall, almost gaudy. I went to ICD's site and almost threw up on my keyboard.. ok thats pushing it.. Obviously this is just one mans opinion that nobody asked for but I think that classic guns have better lines and aesthetics. I own a cocker and a mag and I find them both beautiful to look and for completely different reasons.. but I just cant see myself passing by an intimidator every day in my living room saying "Wow! such awe inspiring beauty!"..ok I dont say that now either.. but seriously electros are ugly as sin.. and E/X mags came out looking pretty sleek and awesome as always.. way to go AGD!

Well, you see the problem you have is that you are looking at two of the ugliest electro's on the market. ICD guns....are fugly, and IMO, Timmy's are disgusting looking. Look at the EGO, shocker, angels, and DM's.

Yeah, In the end it all comes down to personal preference, I just feel that you singled out two of the ugliest electro's and represented the whole group.

/If Adam g. gave me permission, I would dump my g/f and marry a shocker.

ok ill agree that the new shockers look great they sort of look like mags.. but I have looked at DM's, protos, angels, imps, trixs, I just think they all leave something to be desired.. even half block cockers and the new black magic cockers look ridiculous. Also, yes I did in fact pick two of the ugliest guns out there in my generalization of electros.. I suppose I should have been a little more specific in my approach..

ego looks just like a halfblock cocker but with gross milling and a little pit bull weiner lpr sticking off the front... and timmy is a little retarded kid that lives down the street from me..

A grey level 7 mag with a standard feed and a big old plastic elbow taped around a hopper with a vertical CO2 mount is not exactly my idea of aesthetically pleasing either. :)

i like the look of the mags best, specially the kartas and dallaras, but if i had to choose an electro, id say a DM3 or a DM4, for some reason i just like the look of both those....

Timmy's are usually bleh.
Stock Ego's are ok I guess.
I don't like the 3 tubes of an Angel, except Rastas.
Mech anything sucks unless it has a Karta body and Rail. They are probably the most beautiful body ever made for paintball.

vivalamexico your not the only one that isn't fond of other markers. Alot of markers are just plain hidious looking to me. I like the mag look the best over anything else. :cheers:

See I think the ripper milling is just too much.. on any gun.. There needs to be a balance like in a painting.. there needs to be a certain amount of negative space otherwise it gets too cluttered and becomes aesthetically vile.

You should care about how your marker performing. It can be as ugly as frankenmag as long as its shoots straight and is efficient.

That is what tiks me about all those milsim looking monsters A5. They does look like real deal but they never outperform Xmag or Cyborg.

I agree with you 100% psychowarden I think E/X mags are great guns simple lines that emphasize the function of the gun as well as provide aesthetic value. ABTOCMEPTb, as far as not caring what a marker looks like and if it shoots straight or not.. since 95% of markers shoot the same ammo at the same velocity they all perform fairly consistantly (obviously barrel dependant).. so if the only variable thats left to change is the aesthetics.. then I do care what my marker looks like. Also personally I think the frankenmag looks better than any intimidator/borg/viking etc.. purely because of shock value.. almost like functional industrial art ha!

emags are ugly heavy bricks and xmags look great without anything on them. You start sticking rails, gigantic air lines, and needed equipment like tanks and hoppers and you have another beast.

i still like the dm5 liens the best, the dm6 is growing on me but its weird looking still. I did like a few timmys (naughty dog) and all egos are the same. The ugliest guns are by far the shocktech line, those are horrible.

Swirl Feather Light Vik/Excal > Karta Dmags > Xmags > DM3 > everthing else

The way I say it pans now on the electo market.
And those I don't like

Dynasty Shocker < DM6 < Stock Ion < Defiants < Stock Imps < everything else

And besides the maxflo reg on this, i don't want to hear anything bad about this marker! The milling on the DM4 looks much nicer than those on the DM5/6.

I'd take a Emag any day over it. I once tried one of these. I couldn't hit the broard side of a barn snap shooting with one. Pick up any one of my mags and I'm back on target. Amazing how a panfish with a grip threw me that far off.

I personally think that alot of mags are pretty unattractive. Of course, there are many exceptions as well. I like the way Egos look, as well as gloss black turtle cockers. The whole DM line is nice, although I don't care for the DMC. Shockers all look decent, and some intiminators look pretty good. One of my favorites is the System X NME, altough it is really really long.

In fact any of the DM's are nice. My favorite is a DMC as far as looks; it ranks right up with an x-mag.

I have a new xsv ego for sale that I just cannot put down. I really am tempted to buy it for myself. I love the gold anno! :cry:

DM(x), EGO, x-mag, and Shockers all are some prime examples of electro hotness in my opinion.

Check out the Angel G7 and Arsenal G7. They have great lines and mazing anno jobs. The build quality is a lot like AGD, very substantial feeling which is why I like them.Also the Karnivor is good looking. I had a bright blue one and everyone thought it was beautiful.
