I've seen that rail before a few times, but always thought it was a custom job.

I like it. I wish AGD would have marketed it when it came out. It would have been nice to see anything new from them.

I think it looks good, it reminds me of some of the Shocktech autococker milling.

Nice thanks for the pictures..
I think the twistlock bodies have a rectangular front nub "PIM", and that has only a round hole (ULE bodies)... but that sure does look like a twistlock cutout in the rail. hmm

Not really all that new. Those have been coming on the Tac-Ones for ~6 months now.

Seen a few for sale in the BST forum about a month ago.

but like i said above... AGD never marketed these, so rarely anyone knows about them. so 6 months old - yes. but to the majority its brand new :D

Am I incorrect in seeing that these are classic length rails and also use the classic ASA?

Definitely twistlock capable. The stainless no-rise body from AGD website will fit it though - has round front nub and is twistlock.

No, its an RT Pro rail shortened to Classic length and use the RT Pro ASA.

Actually it looks like its using a modded version of the RT Pro vertical ASA. RTPro ASA is shorter than the AM/MM ASA and it uses 2 x screws.

The one in the pic looks like the RTPro ASA but with just the 1 screw. (Actually, it could still be 2 x screws....the front of the rail is cut off in the pic)

So I've been trying to figure out if this would work for an emag or not? It's a beauty with the Tac One Warp left body, but would it marry up with the Emag lowers?

does agd sell them seperatly the body and the rail i mean or is it more of like a package because i like the rail and dont care for the body

if agd doesnt sell it does someone else sell it seperate

If they are an RT rail shortened to classic length then Logic's Ult Mech Frame wouldn't work would it?

Does it take classic sears or RT/E-mag?

Mark - Look at the pics on the first page, its kind of obvious man. :)

Anywho, i think they look like crap to be honest. Those rails wouldnt really flow well with much anything and just look plain.

the fact that AGD adopted ULE milling is nice, its a move in the right direction. however... the "decorative" milling sucks. its simplistic, ugly, and would be really hard to clean. the rails that dealers here have milled are much nicer.

Bleh!!! The milling is too plain.

I like it except for the two cuts in the front

05-26-2006, 09:23 PM
anyone else think it looks ..meh

i mean a basic teardrop milling, doesnt seem to go with the tac very well imo

also it it iritatiing to anyone else that it DOES NOT match up in the front on the tac, or even the cutom ule for that matter?

i guess thats just me :tard:

By the looks of it it doesn't need to be milled for warp which is nice. I think it looks nice.
