Ok, I bought both these brand new, and they were labled as "Autococker threads." But neither one of them fit inside my ULE body, so they obviously are not autococker threads. They also don't fit into a spyder body. Any help would be appreciated. Whoever correctly identifies them can take $5 off anything they want in my sale thread. Thanks guys! ~Brian

the j and j looks like it has a running chance at being an angel thread. It could be early bushmaster...

Thanks guys, I don't have any immediate friends who have any of those guns, so I have no way to find out in reasonable time whether you're right or not. Therefore, all three of you can take $5 off anything you want in my sale thread for responding so quickly, whether you're right or not. I'll probably run up to a field in a few Sundays and try to find people with those guns to test out the barrels. Thanks again!

P.S. Keep posting your thoughts guys (but not random guesses please).

I vote old bushmaster.

As do I.

Old ICD threads looked pretty close to 'Cocker threads, made them a ***** to tell apart if you had both.

It's for sure not Impulse threads, as they are far too fine.

A couple of quick measurements would aid us greatly here.

Give me an OD (that's outside diameter) of the threads and the hood (the unthreaded part that sticks into the marker body), as well as the length of the threaded portion and the hood, and the number of threads (so I can get a rough pitch).

Those few bits of info will allow us to narrow the field greatly for you.

Ok, here is some of the info for the FREAK barrel
6 “threads” (at a few minor points there only seem to be 5)
3/4 inch (12/16 to go by my ruler) to the start of threads
Threads end at about exactly 1 inch from the start of the barrel.
Threads themselves are 1/4 inch thick from start to finish

As you can see in the picture, the barrel gets a little thicker on the part where the O-ring is. It is 1 1/6 inches from the back to the part where it gets thicker (where the o-ring is).

It is 1 1/2 inches from the back to where the barrel reaches its full diameter

If I am correct in understanding what you mean by OD, the "hood" is 13/16 of an inch.

Here is some info for the J&J Barrel:
5 threads (at some points only 4)

Just a tiny bit more than 13/16 of an inch, almost 14/16 to the start of the threads from the back

The OD of the "Hood" is 25/32 of a an inch

It is 1 1/4 of an inch from the back of the barrel to where it gets thick

it is 1/8 inch from the end of the threads to the beginning of the thick part of the barrel.

I'm going to go with Angel threads on the J&J and ICD treads on the freak back.

Thanks for all your help guys, I appreciate it. If i'm correct, the general consensus is the following:

J&J: Angel Threads
Freak back: ICD (old bushmaster) Threads

Thanks again!
