I remember drooling over this light green and black pseudo-tigerstripe micromag back when I was in high school... can anyone remember (or perhaps look up, if you've got a collection of APG back issues) what it's called?

Send an e-mail to Pro-Team Products. They should know.

Their entire line of Micromags back the day were anno'd like that.

Those were all done at PK Selective. PTP and PK together were the one's who first developed multicolor splash and fade annodizing and brought it to the paintball world. Amazing where anno has gone since. :)

Anyway...That's who you need to contact if you'd like to replicate it.

www.pkselective.com I believe.

PK did the colorful Emags and I believe they did the Xmags, but I'm not certain if they did all the Xmags.

Jonno, I hate to tell you, but this is not the Alien anno. If I had to make an educated guess, the green tigerstripe would probably be called something like "jungle nights green." Anyway, here is a pic of the Alien anno just so you will know what it looks like:

I was gonna say Jungle Nights too. I just picked up a PTP micrococker body and I'm 99% sure it's an Alien body. Alas, no matching barrel or grip, but everyhting else :)

Actually, the Black/green tiger was called "Wild Satin Iguna" :tard:

I contacted PTP after I started collecting Micromags and got a breakdown of all of their anno patterns.

I use to have an old glossy print of the different gun arrangements they offered and the different anno patterns. It was all line art with solid coloring. No photos. This was back in 97 of course.....

The Pro-Team Products anno patterns that I have expamples of from PTP are

Alien, Wild Satin Iguna, Jungle Nights, Jungle Sunrise, Tropical Jungle, Wild Tiger, Blue Tiger, Blue Nights, Purple Nights, Red Nights, Cool Camo, Satin Black, and Gloss Black.

Those were the production patterns. I believe that they also did custom one-off's from time to time.

Seeing Wild Satin Iguana in print made a bell go off in my head... Thanks Robert. By the way, It was great seeing you guys at Painted Forest today. You've just got to love when the first truck that pulls in unloads three guys and 4-5 'mags. :D
