Wow...those are quite possibly some of the most beautiful guns ever produced.

You have no idea the jealousy I have for you right now.

Umm... what is an aurora cocker? It just looks like a normal cocker with a weird anno to me.

SummaryJudgement

Yes, the "weird anno" is one of the rarest and hardest plating jobs to reproduce ever. There may only a hundred or way less of anything with Aurora plating in the world.

Who produced it?

bawitheba
05-31-2006, 06:11 PM
planet eclipse produced it

only known are 10 cockers 2 shoe box shockers 1 impulse and 1 bushy

only 4 know cockers still exist

The plating it's self is not rare, you see it all the time on knives zippos's and such, but the problem is doing it with Alum...as paintball gunbs are because the bodies tend to exaporate. very few places can do alum (it can still be done, but good luck finding a p-lace that will do a paintball gun oir custom order for you)

glad you said that i found a place

Would the process work on brass? An aroura typhoon would be pretty sweet.

When I entered "my new gun" I was expecting to see a mag with a classic valve and a ule body or something. When I saw holy grail, and a half picture of the aurora I sort of felt like passing out....

those are some of the nicest guns ive ever seen. Ive held a aurora shocker, aurora impulse, and aurora cocker. I believe the person still owns the impulse and i know his father still has the cocker. the shocker was unfortuanatly sold.

Are you sure there was only 1 impulse?

Welll not really.

The reason they could not use ALU is because the aluminum vaporized....melted. Brass has a much lower temporator till it melts...I'd think brass would just MELT if this was tried...but you are right, a aurora palmer gun would be to die for.

Well, I got mine off of Ledz (he works at Planet Eclipse and was a factory player). It's still in my possession, so there may be more than one floating around out there.

J/K!!! Definitely play with it. I'd like to see some faces at the field when that is in the staging area. Take videos and pics of people's expressions please!
