Hi guys, Im new to most of you here. Those of you that do know me know I like custom work. Im going to be starting a custom mag project. I have played some with Dive's and a couple of others and I am in love with the feel. Im new to mags so I will be gathering information over the next month or so before I get started. Right now I would like to know who the "big dogs" of custom mag work are and what you think of their service record. If you have pics ot accompany your posts they would be greatly appreciated.

Tunaman does complete custom markers made to order.
I'd suggest Deadlywind for the body, but since DW isn't able to to get slug (blank bodies from AGD) to do their custom work at this time, the used market will be pricey for them. Good luck and welcome. Look at the mag of the month thread "MOTM" for some custom ideas. Always a good showing there...

Luke is his username on here, and I love his work! Here is my zgriped, warped, minimag, he made the reverse 15* foregrip extender, grips, lightened the zgrip a lot, lightened the rail, added the extra side milling to the rail, made the trigger, and powder coated everything I meantioned. :D
Be warned, these are some big pictures! I havent had time to resize them.

I havnt had any custom work done by Tunaman, but I have seen his work here on AO. He can get any stock AGD parts raw (even valves) and do a custom anno on them. His emag triggers and custom battery packs look pretty nice as well!

Colin (nicad on here) is the maker of the sexiest automag bodies on the planet! Just look around his site and see for your self.

Coolhand isnt doing any more production runs and is only taking in custom jobs now, but his work is great as well. His new electro pneumatic trigger frame is going to turn quiet a few heads when they are released (although they are all sold out).

RRFireBlade just started this thread here on AO. He has done quiet a bit of very cool custom stuff and was heavily involved with making the prototype pneumatic trigger frame for PTP.

If by Custom you are looking for "built-your-way" you should look into the RPG Pro Custom (http://www.themagsmith.com/cgi-bin/index2.cgi?product=proc.cgi).

It can be found at www.themagsmith.com.

It allows you to customize a marker by building it with the parts you want.

I am wonder if magsmith will ever resuplly xcile bodies, trasher rail and RPG grips. I am waiting to order another custom from you guys. Black or red.

Worth every penny invested.

I am thinking to upgrade this marker to electro. Either by adding Luke's spyder frame or by adding emag lowers. The only problem is annodizing into right color..

Thats hot! You know, as long as mags have been around Im surprised that there is still the external hose running to the ASA :( Is there a reason a lot of people dont use vert regs on them?

The valve is essentially a reg in itself, and you'll probably find the majority of regs out there would starve the valve anyway.

Besides, you would still need to run an external hose even with a vertical reg.

Depending on how custom you really want to go, you could always have the inside of the rail milled with a pathway for a hardline from the vertical ASA to the valve.

Someone on PBN told me once that MAGs were ugly... so how do I explain this fine specimen?

Internal routing, now thats what Im talkin about! I just like a clean look. The hose running from a vert reg dosent seem as akward to me. It conceals the view of some really hot mags IMO.

All of my dealers will have more RPG Exile bodies and grips. Thrasher rails have been discontinued.

BAH, that's the best rail you ever made, other then the original ULE'd Roguerail....which I have :)

I thought the Thrasher rail looked nice too. But the sales numbers dont agree. There are quite a few of my other styles that stomped the Thrasher in sales.

The original RogueRail, I loved. It was a good seller too. I think only because nobody at that time was offering an aftermarket ULE'd rail. Man, that was 2003....has it been that long? :wow:

....now that you mention it, three years since I got my mag from you? Kinda scary to think about where time goes...

Still one of the coolest markers out there
