Need help on polishing mag bodies and that

I've got a Proclassic body and i want to make it less boring. I thought taking off the black and polishing it, has anybody tried this before? And if so what did you do? I was thinking about just using wet and dry paper from 320 grit to 1000 and then polishing the body. That a good plan??

The Teflon coated bodies are a little difficult to do because of the adhersion process you have to remove it all the way down. You may want to try bead blasting it first to remove all the Teflon. I tried sanding, ss wire brush and I can't seem to get all of it off. So I ended up using 250 then 350 to give it a brushed look. The best thing and easiest is to buy a polished body or get one that is bead blasted and polish it form there.....

or just buy a polished body. :rolleyes:
