first shot hot

i have a freind who has a mag that the first shot is hot next few are normal until he stops then it will shot hot for the first one and then is fine. not sure what it is thinking it might piston reg in the gun.he use co2 but runs expanson chamber and a remote line and never had trouble till here of late he was wanting to sell it and get an ion :tard: the reason this bothers him is that he is a awsome snapshot and that firs one counts alot .could some one with some experance please coment on this. thank you for youre help

I had the same problem.
It's generally the reg-seat leaking.
Could be dirt or worn or improperly installed..
You aren't supposed to re-use them (if you break apart the two reg halves you are supposed to change the reg seat). It also goes in a specific way (see here) (http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7291) .
