What are some good vertical regulators for the mag. I want to try to get a good setup I can use with co2 when the need arises. Often actually.

I already know the Palmers Stab is great with co2. How about the Palmers Fatty or CP regs? Any others?

The only inline I’d recommend for a Mag is one from Palmer and that’s only if you must use CO2. Both the standard Stabilizer and the Fatty are great at keeping CO2 out. The Fatty has a faster recharge rate so you might want to use that since Mags are very easily starved by inline regs. I don’t suggest trying use a reg to keep liquid out of a RTP style valve since you’ll probably get crazy shoot-down.

No need for a reg.
An expansion chamber or remote if you run CO2.

Not sure how good any other reg is other then the Stabilizer when it comes to keeping liquid out of the valve.

Personally, I'd get a good 6 stage expansion chamber and an anti-siphon tank setup. That should be just as good as a Stab. and a whole lot cheaper

I would get the female stab and run it to an X chamber. If you want just the reg use the stab not the fatty. The fatty has a max output of like 500.

If your going to spend $50+ on a reg, please just buy a nitro tank. If you look around enough you can find them for that much, especially new on ebay.

That works if you can find a fill station somewhere.

Is this about running a X-valve off of co2?

I wouldn't think so...

Well, that's not true but I do agree that it's really not worth the trouble.
