Well, my current helmet sucks, I'm looking to upgrade. I'm 95% set on getting a shoei RF-1000. I just can't figure out which one. I've got it down to two:

What do you guys think?

id say see if you can try it on first. id put how it feels ahead of the fancy designs. (besides the fact that theyre ridiculously tacky)

What kind of bike do you have? And what color.

Just make sure if your bike is red, dont ride it unless everything you are wearing is red...

I tried on a couple of arais, they didn't fit as well as the shoei. I'm gonna cheap out and just get the matte black one. Can't go wrong with that.

This is my bike

Make sure whatever helmet you get doesn't cover your mouth. In my ER class we were talking about motorcycling accidents and how it's never a good idea to take a helmet off a victim because sometimes the helmet is holding gray matter (brains!!!111) in the skull. But you can't give CPR if the mouth is covered, so... off comes the helmet and the brains leak onto the concrete. Yay!

Or you can have the whole front of you and your passengers face ripped off like a crash we had last month.

Get a fullface helmet

It's an FZ6.

I wouldn't ride without a full face helmet.
