take the valve and the detents out and put the body in boiling water. Then use a strap wrench to get the feedneck off

They are Angel threaded.

A bench vise with a sheet of rubber to help grip and to protect the finnish on the feedneck. clamp the feedneck into the vice and use the body of the gun to twist it off.
if you still have problems use a propane torch.

Thats the APD way.

Dremel Time! :D
Edit: you could always sand the Halo if you dont plan on using it wiht a different gun :).

No dremel lol!

I got mine off with boiling water, a strap wrench, really sore fingers, and some luck.

...does boiling water damage anything?

no, putting a body in boiling water will not damage anything, seeing how bodies are boiled during the annodization process to seal the pores in the aluminum, no damage will occour to the body.

Well, definately dry it out. I think there is a steel washer in there.

Brute force - a vise as has been suggested

Actually I changed my mind. Use a Jaws-of-Life.

if the boiling water doesent work for you, and you dont care about the condition of the feedneck after, just clamp the feedneck in a vice and twist the body
