I just got my mag back from AGD and it has this green jellylike stuff in the velocity adjustment hole what is this?

One of the techs was eating lunch over the guns again. Spilled some mint jelly :)
Its greese to keep the spring pack from rusting.

Mint jelly keeps springs from rusting? Maybe it'll keep my truck from rusting too! Mmmmmmmmmmm. Mint flavored Chevy....:D

Ouch. Sounds like you've seen older Wisconsin cars before... Not uncommon to see the whole lower half of doors and fenders almost completely eaten away by rust. To my truck's defense, it's 14 years old w/ 150,000 miles and it runs better and has less rust than my wife's 97 Nissan. It's all in how you care for them!
