Well, my bro just got his autococker in, which came with a shocktech apocalypse dropforward. He also ordered an 88/4500 Crossfire Screw-in Preset tank, and there's a little problem. With the current d/f with the asa, he cant screw the tank on. Someone told him that if he got somekind of adapter that converts the threads into a nipple type hookup, He could set it up. I need to know if this will work. And also Where i might be able to get a hold of one of the adapters.

Help!

You mean the tank has nipple-like-threads and he needs to find an adapter that goes from nipple threads to the ASA? I dunno, but thats alot of weight on those little threads... i could see stripping in the future.. or worse. Might wanna consult an airsmith.

Is his drop like the one in the pic or just like it but its shaped like a lightning bolt, if so. CP make a adapter that slides on to it and has a om/off but is is expansive 35 bucks. Your best bet it to buy a pstcho ballastic drop the are cheap and work great about 25 bucks shipped. If you have enough cash get a dz2 or a warped sports drop forward. I can get you links to stores that sell them if need be, just ask.

ok he needs either this http://www.g3pb.com/product_images/shocktech/st_bl.gif

Which is from G3 is the shocktech part, costs about 19.50, but doesn't have an on/off this http://www.customproducts-az.com/Photos/SmCradle.jpg

or this http://www.customproducts-az.com/Photos/SmOnOffASA.jpg

the last 2 are CP pieces one without on/off one with 20 and 40 dollars respectivly. Look around that is the kind of thing you are looking for.
