the title says it all. i bought a 68 automag off from ebay. its stock as far as the internals go. my dilema is that the trigger pull is very stiff, and im wondering what can make it lighter, and/or how to upgrade the trigger frame and what to get........i'd appreciate a little help from the veterans agd'ers out there. by the way, i love my mag, and dont think ill get rid of it anytime soon

Hey there new guy. Welcome to AO.

First off… the trigger pull is very stiff. If I remember right it is a 4 lbs. Pull weight. A lot of people that are used to shooting modern electronic guns pick up my Mags and think that they don’t shoot… I have to tell them “pull the trigger back” then they reply with oh… in total embarrassment.

Well I will share a thread I did a while back with you, enjoy.

Look here...

First you may need a parts kit, to replace those old dry o-rings

Your next stop should be the level 10 anti-chop bolt, that is unless you already have one. It all but eliminates chops. BEST up grade for all mags in my opinion.

Your valve is ready to go with the N2 aka compressed air systems, no modifications needed, works better and faster than co2

If you are willing to drop some more money in search of a faster gun look here... The X-Valve (which comes with the level 10 bolt)

If you get the x-valve... you may want to have a lighter trigger pull weight so check out the ULT. Not recommended for the classic valve, but it can be done.

Then to really take advantage of the light trigger pull check out the new frames that have double triggers...
the intelliframe

and the really unique to AGD Y-grip...

And finally if you want a cool new body check out the ULE bodies (these have autococker barrel threading so you can get all sorts of cool modern barrels for it)...

Well that is just the beginning of what you can do with your mag!
At one point long ago my gun was a classic mag...

You can do the same thing to yours if you so desire.

At this point in the last thread I got this as a response…

Hehe, and then you can put your mag back together with all the parts you upgraded. :p

And as I said,
Damn skippy...

No you dont have to have an Xvalve to upgrade to an intelliframe. The intelliframe is a upgraded frame made by AGD for the mag it also has a switch and wiring that CAN be connected to your electronic hopper to make sure it spins everytime the trigger is pulled, it however is a mechanical frame and does not make your gun electric operated.

Sorry to hijack your thread, Moemag any chance you'll trade that pewter body and xvalve for a taconebody and xvlave with ult?

The intelli/ ygrip wont make your trigger pull lighter, the best way to make it lighter is a xvalve and ult. Also another thing you could do is go to Lukescustoms.com and he has a sear mod that makes your trigger pull shorter

Use a 1/8" hex wrench and back out the velocity adjuster at the back of the valve (turn it counterclockwise).
