Have they ever made a freak kit that had backs for twist-lock mags?

I was thinking of maybe getting one but would like to keep the twist-lock style rather than getting a ULE mainbody to use cocker threaded freak backs.

yes, they do. I used to have a twist lock back, but I traded it along with one of my mags.

see them go on ebay for DIRT cheap a lot of times

heck you can get twist lock barrels and kits on there for about 30% of retail cost, stores are trying to get rid of them.

But how does that work?

The backs are different bore sizes and the front is just whatever the barrel type is? I recently saw one for sale that was a back and front and the ad said that it didn't include any "inerts". That made me wonder if maybe there were middle pieces or something with twist-lock freak barrels.

Freak back and front are 2 pieces, the insert is a aluminum or steel tube inserted into the back, and held in position by the front. The Insert is the actual bore sizer, without them the back of the freak is useless.

According to the national paintball supply catalog they still make them, and action village has them.

What's stupid is the guy never says what type of front it is. Is it an All-American or Teardrop? How long is it? It looks like 12 inches to me.

I might just wait until I can find a 14" all-american tto make sure I like it before I get it in a freak kit. Do thye make freak kits for alot of different kinds of fronts?
