Lol... I saw this on the ford truck enthusiasts forums a while back... that guy's got a VW Beetle with a jet engine on it! It's sick! :D

I bet if you tried to do the 0-60 all the weight and momentum going towards the back would just spin out the entire scooter...

Then again, I have never done anything like that in my life....

What's the handling like at full throttle w/one engine out?

I'd imagine losing an engine at speed & full throttle would make it want to turn into the dead engine pretty quickly.

yeah, saw a news story on the beetle a little while ago. in fact i think someone here may have posted a link to it. If you look closely at the pics (second one) you can see the beetle. Must be under going a paint job.

wonder what those jets belong to? Missle? UAV of some sort?

bet he doesnt get very far either, i mean its only but so big and can only carry a little gas. And its not like you can simply refule at your local BP.

i think phil is more into efficient vehicles. im just waiting for his solar powered hybrid bio-diesel vespa that gets 800 MPG.

its probably just temporary, the picture is meant to give an idea of what he could do.

look at the arms used for bracing it they are not attached.
