I just got one for my birthday, but I havent go to try it yet. I blew some really horrible "brand X" paint threw it and it seemed to be a good match. Has anyone tried it with PMI Premium or 32º?

minimager, the dye ss is the same as the aluminum, but alot heavier. i love my dye aluminum. does not shoot well through breaks b/c of the immense porting. i shoot marbalizers very well through it.

Yeah I use blaze and they work pretty well. Never used PP though. Did they say that proball works well too? I've been looking to change from blaze cause it's so fragile.

Bottom line the aluminum is a great barrel. I love mine.

I had a Dye ALuminum for my Spyder a while back. It shot really well with PMI premiums. Not a single break (in the barrel) a day :D

I personally feel that DYE Products are waaaay over priced. You can get the same performace of a Dye Aluminum with a CP Barrel. They are both the same bore size (.689) but CP is going to be cheaper, and available in many lengths, bores, and colors.

my 2 cents :)

I have a 10" dye aluminum. It's a barrel, just like any other barrel. Paint goes in the good end and out the bad end.

I've put about 5 cases of PMI Premium through my DYE Aluminum. It shoots very accurately with no non-user-related ball breaks so far. As for DYE being overpriced, I got my barrel brand new for $50.
