I am going to be trading my prolite for a classic mag soon. I have the choice of a regular foamie bolt, or an ANS venturi bolt. Which one would you guys go with? I will eventually get a lvl10.

when at all possible go with genuine AGD/AGD Approved products
Stick wiht the standard foamie, or see if you can get both :) What do they need it anymore for, they dont have a mag and nobody will buy it off of em.

personally, in terms of valves and bolts, I'd always stick with AGD parts, so i'd say the foamie.
I have heard inconsistent things about the ANS parts.

I had one of those for a while - it worked ok, but good luck finding a foamy for it if you loose one.
The AGD bolts are proven more consistent and better made. Go with the AGD foamy.

Yes it does.
Afaik there are two types of ANS venturi, one with a foamie and one without. I could be wrong, but mine has never had a foamie and seems to work fine.

I actually liked my ANS bolt. Be aware that there are at least two designs. One called a shortnose and the other called a longnose bolt. Some of the hardcore mag guys could tell you the details, but something to the effect that early mags had a different length bolt or somesuch.....I forget, thats been many brain cells ago.

I always had good luck with my ans bolt, it was real gentle on the paint. If I were you I'd get the ans you can always buy an agd stock bolt or better yet a lvl 10 bolt later.

I think Shortnose=With Foamie, Longnose=No Foamie.
