Yes you can. Just make sure you don't get liquid CO2 in the valve by either using an expansion chamber or run your tank off a remote.

The marker freezes up then you have to wait around for ages for it to thaw out. They run way better on air.

under rapid fire, with co2, you get spyder consistency pretty much. I wasn't pleased with my classic until i got air on it, it improves the mag 100%

I ran my classic mag on Co2 for 3 years before I switched to HPA, the differance is like night and day. If you draw liquid CO2 into the Mag's valve it might "hang" or freeze up momentarily untill the liquid converts back to gas. As the liquid converts to gas it creates a pressure spike and the valve becomes supercharged causing a hot shot. :argh:

If you run CO2, tank on marker also use an antisiphon in the tank this will also help keep liquid out of your mag..

my brother ran a dual expansion chamber before he got air. was weid, but cool. I dont have pics, but imagine a screw in mouned in the vert adapter and then and old expansion that used to screw into the bodies of the old spyders into the bottom of the first one, making an "L". then using steel braided hose to connect the 2nd expansion to the asa.
worked a lot better than I thought it would, but eventually no matter how many expansion chambes you have, rapid fire gets ya.
