After searching threw numorus pages from the search function, I have given up on it and decided to just ask. How did PTP make the micromag bodies? Did AGD create a slug type body for PTP or did they just give them the specs?

or did they just give them the specs?

I remember TK talking about this years ago, as I recall AGD provided the specs for the Micromag.

AGD and PTP did have a partnership of some sort...

Yes,

IIRC PTP stuff did not viod the AGD warrenty. I would only assume that TK gave them specs. Then PTP cut bodies with thier own slugs.

Or maybe not.

Yeah, PTP quality control left something to be desired though.

They were milled by Benchmark before PTP bought the company , too specs originally supplied by AGD. PTP actually had little to do with the manufacturing of the bodies themselves. The fact is, Benchmark made an error on the milling programming forcing PTP to make minor changes to the specs for final assembly. That is why Micromag specs differ slightly from standard AGD product.

Thanks guys, I have always wondered about that. Now I only wish that agd would work with deadlywind in a similar so we could get some more karta's. ;)
