"MAG" of the month contest...that means MAGS of any kind, only

I want to see some kick butt mags ! ! !

I will do it every month there seems to be continued interest , voting in the last week of each month, new contest on the first-ish of each month.

Near the end of the month I will narrow it down to a Final 5 (or how ever many I think are worthy) and open a public voting poll to pick the winner.


Rules:

1) Must be your Mag and NOT for sale during the month of the contest.

2) I don't care how great or sucky your pictures are, it's a gun contest not a photogenic prize.

3) 2 pictures MAX , NO GIANT WALLPAPER sized pictures....post a link if you need to. I'm the only one voting at this time so no need to 'impress' the masses....yet.

Your marker sure is nice. Your mix n' match of the colors is just perfect. Not too much black, not too much chrome/nickel.

Ive seen other markers with that frame on them, and they looked odd. But on your marker it really looks good. Proportional.

The reverse ASA, and the Left-Side XValve are nice added touches. So nice they arent readily noticed at first, but once you do notice, they are appreciated.

This marker should definitly be in the finals.

I bought it from a paintball shop here in the netherlands. It came with this anno and i believe the marker was also manufactured with this anno. I call it the "monsters inc" anno since it looks like the big guy in the movie. Its a unibody micromag, which means the barrel and the body is one piece. Also it has the micromag A.I.R. valve, and from what i heard its kind of a rare find.
It's not in mint condition tho, it has some wear and tear for usage, but it still works fine.

With a stubby tank on it, it's a bit out of balance, but very compact. :shooting:

I will add another better quality picture latter, for now, this is what I just took. :D

I give you "Betzy" This zmag was touched (in a number of places, but we wont go there) by AO's very own Luke. This is one of my favorite mags. It is small, light, fast, beautiful, comfotable and the trigger is walkable (for me atleast).

Here is a list of what is on here and the work that has been done:
Blue ULE body with Strangler feedneck (thanks ClassicMagger)
Black Xvalve with ULT
Black PMI gas thru foregrip.
Chrome Endo Cradle
Classic rail ULE'd and powdercoated by Luke
15* Reverse foregrip extender for warps, made by Luke
Black Zgrip CFL (Completly ____ Light) moded by luke
Blue CFL Zgrp panels made by Luke
Blue Blade trigger made by Luke
Sear job done by Luke (best thing you could do to a mech mag)

As you can see in the pictures below, it weights in at 2lbs 6.8 ounces. Now onto the picture (like I said I will add another latter).

I was thinking of throwing a battery and board in there...but that sort of defeats the purpose of the non-electronic idea.

If you're hinting towards an internal LPR - I have a spare vert frame and outkast LPR that ought to be used for something ;) :ninja: (And then dusted black of course)

Thanks for the compliment. The anno was done by A plus annodizing. One of a kind :cheers: Its a black to claret (no, didnt spell that wrong) and most people dont even know what the color is. It was done before I owned the marker, when the owner was Duzzy. It started out as a Pewter X-mag, then went to the Blood Leapord (http://www.aplusanodizing.com/db_leopardmag1.jpg) And then was annodized like it is today.

Hahaha, not exactly. But the text does show the color claret very well.

Claret should be a nice wine color (since claret is a name for bordeaux).

Nice mags all, I hope to get mine finished up before long, but it won't be quite as super as all these (simple ULE body, 14inch UL barrel, Logic 90* frame, X-valve, CP direct mount on/off, Alpha rail and Logic front grip, hoping to do a dust olive and black motif).

Somehow i love it, but not quite... I really love the purple gloss on the black parts, but the other color that is something between purple and pink i don't like. It looks ok tho, just not my cup of tea. (but i love xmags!) :D
