Paintball and PORN!!?? What?

Before I left to play today, I started up LimeWire and left it to download some stuff. It was downloading various songs and paintball vids. Well, I just remembered it and checked it out and it turns out almost HALF of the vids I downloaded is porno under a paintball related name (ex. "coolest woods game ever!, etc.). Has anyone else had this problem? I'm not into that stuff at all, and am pretty embarrassed (thank God no one was around when I checked them out.) Needless to say, they no longer exist on my pc.

honestly, no, but then again, I've only once encountered a file which was mislabled to conseal it's pronographic identity.... pretty much everything else is as expected ;)

EDIT: I suppose I should almost mention that I don't use Limewire....

Ha ha, yeah. I remember they did an entire segment on it on TechTV. I can't remember why (I think it was part of that Martin something guy's show...)

That was funny, though. This isn't. I was really expecting "The BEST woods game EvEr!" and "Dynasty vs. Aftershock" and the like. Thank God at least half were actually paintball.

Side Note: Wasn't the whole Bambi thing just a hoax? I haven't heard anything lately, so I 'm going to assume so.

I wouldnt download vids off of limewire. I would check jayloo.com or similar paintballing video sites. :)

The Hunt for Bambi was a staged activity that was made to look like a promotional video for the "company" that hosted the event. It was just staged though. But not only did people think it was real, but they thought it would happen again and again...that's what PO'ed people off so much I think.

On my limewire I filtered out the word f**k and it really cut down on all the porn I was getting while searching for vids. Just an idea.

I think I accidentally hit "search all", but I found some pics once of a naked chick posing with gear... Only thing was she was posing with a Spyder...

I guess you can say it's hot, but again, I'm not really into that (plus my girlfriend would castrate (sp?) me).

you know, limewire has a "filter adult content" box you can check.

although, to my knowledge that only filters according to the titles, so someone could still mislable a video.

what i found funny was the number of files with random titles and (paintball) tagged on to the end.
