Hey Everyone,

Has anyone made or bought (on the cheap) a stock (MP5 telescoping style with the butt plate end) for a mag that would screw into the back bottle holes on my classic rail?
Let me know, I really need a stock for my mag its horribly unbalanaced with the tank on the back of it.

I didn't do that, but I did this:

It takes a bit of customizing to get it to fit, but it's not hard.

Perfect thats what I'm looking for. Is that a JCS T-Stock? ANd how is the overall feel of the stock on an automag- I have a t-stock on my phantom and its amazing so I want to duplicate it on my mag.

Yes, it's a JCS Signature Series universal folding stock. Here is a close up after I modded it;

I have other pics showing the construction, but they're on my old computer which isn't hooked up right now. The universal stock has a big block with a bunch of holes. There are 2 holes for a standard bottomline. What I did was cut off the block right in front of the hole furthest back and tapped it for 1/4 20. Then I sanded the metal down about halfway to the "shoulder". Then I added a second hole behind that one using the odd ball spacing that the back bottle holes use. There is enough metal back there so you don't have to drill all the way through. I tapped the hole with a bottom tap but I think you could get away with a standard tap. Just a bit of sanding and polishing and then send it off to anodizing. I have a friend who regularly sends out a batch of aluminum to be anodized black, so throwing in a small part like that doesn't cost any more.
