This thread got me thinking... I understand that the X-Mags were rather costly to produce. With the whole legal issues thing pretty much dying down, is there any possibility that e-mags might start being produced in small numbers again? Granted there would have to be a pretty strong demand for them...

i would repost jays post from pbn

but a riot might be started

last i heard agd was making new e-mags, or new parts to make complete e-mags atleast until all complete markers are gone.

AGD is still selling the EMAG. You can buy online at their web site. I purchased one about a 3 to 4 weeks ago.

Right, they are selling what stock they have left, but that doesn't mean they are continuing to make new parts that would equal enough to make a new marker.

Since the dying down of the th whole thing with the electronics. Do you think that AGD has plans in mind to start making emags again in a few more numbers than before? looks like to me thatb there would be a great market on the speedball side to do this especiaaly if AGD sponsered a pro team to get the word out there.

Bah, there's no money in the tournament scene. Everyone wants disposable markers there. Based on having a minimag since 1996, which still shoots as good as the day I got it, we know that AGD doesn't make disposable markers.

I do think that the e-Tac has a pretty good future though.

yeah ill bet e-tacks would sell, it would be nice if you could just buy the emag loweres from agd (you cant right?). i mean thats really the only different thing about the emag then an x valved rt pro.

My thoughts are best expressed in a post by RRfireblade seen at the top of the page here (http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=1694794&page=3)

the rest of the thread will also clarify a lot about AGD and e/x-mags, good stuff :argh:
