I've run my '99 on CO2 unregulated, CO2 regulated, and HPA. chugs away with all three no problems.

The 2k+ cockers have a bigger air chamber in front of the valve.On very hot days the high pressure from the co2 wont alow the valve to stay open long enough for the Cocker to work properly.What you have to do is get a spring kit and play with it a bit.Soft valve spring and hard hammer spring.The only draw back maybe efficiency.I tried this with a 2k1 sniper2 and a direct co2 bottle,plus a drop in mod from Brad Q Nestle.Worked for alil while but on a very hot and humid Carolina day the thing was shot.Best thing I did for my Sniper2 was put a well tuned Reg and a nice spring match up.That Sniper always got me the money shot.I say get a nice Reg you wont regret it.

Autocockers were made and often used when CO2 was the only readily available power supply. Glen Palmer (or was it Craig) has gone as far as to say a *PROPERLY SETUP* CO2 system is the best power supply system currently available for them.

get a reg that can handel co2 any you probably wont even notice a differance between co2 and hpa (i have a stab and on my sniper 2 i get +/- 2 fps , that is if i dont let it sit for like 30 or more mins then it drops down like 20 fps on the first shot)

u can actualy run any gun on co2 if u do it right (anti syphon, double stabs), but the cost is about the same as hpa if u have a gun that will need this set up.

The advantage is that... because CO2 easily compresses into a liquid... you can carry around a lot more air. Otherwise... it can perform... at best... equivalent to HPA... but no better.

A good friend of mine turned a black Cocker completely white with frost from Co2 and still able to Chrony off the field at a tourny. The chrony judge didn't think it would shoot at all let only hit 275fps. If I hadn't been at the tourny to see it I wouldn't have believed it either. So the short answer is yes, a good cocker can run on Co2, maybe even a little (or a lot of) liquid.

As long as your regs can handle it (hpr and lpr) then you'll be fine for most circumstances. Other than that, all 3-ways should handle it reasonably well, with the exception of the Race/Eblade 'noids. If you're trying to run CO2 on an E-cocker though, you're just retarded.

i actualy know of a guy that has been running unred co2 into an eblade cocker for liek 2 years and hasnt even needed to replace the noid or any part of the noid

80's and 90's huh? Odd since the autococker came out in 1990......Were'd them darn 80's go huh? Yah they went fast for me to...only lived through 4 years of it.
