1-7 & 17-20 I’m pretty sure of the order. It is the ones in between that are a little hazey. Do I qualify as a gun hore?

Shives

1. Splatmaster – Picked this up back in ~`92. It was my first paintball gun. Hard to believe the slippery slope that started me down. Note the original “Survival Games” camo holster.

2. ProAm (MicroLite) – Bought this shortly after. When I started, popping for a rental ProAm was a sure sign of an expensive day of play. Usually, we were happy to get the SL68II’s. That auto-trigger was high tech for us. The Court Jesters in southern Illinois started modding them to MicroLites w/ Tippmann’s blessing.

3. ProAm – Technically, I just got this a little bit ago. Needed some ProAm parts, and saw a deal on a couple of parts guns. I pieced one together just as I bought mine originally, and have lots of parts left over.

4. Phantom VSC – Debated long and hard about getting a Phantom or a Sniper. I have never regretted going w/ the Phantom. It has gone through many changes, and I think will stay as a VSC.

5. Cocker – This was my first “high end”. Sent it out to Arron Alexander (AKA fame) before he got famous for milling and some other things.

6. MicroXMag – I picked up a Micro back in 1995 sometime shortly after they went to a removable barrel. I wanted a Mag, but didn’t want to buy Mag barrels. Since I had a Cocker, this was perfect. That Micro left me some time, but I have replaced it w/ a 2000 model. Just sent it out for an XValve swap, and got a Lvl10 and ULT as well.

7. RetroMiniMag – Ran this w/ a pump kit for SkyBall’s pump division one year.

8. MicroCocker – When I got this, it was actually quite ugly. After a while, I developed some issues w/ the back clock. A trip to Brad Q, and now I think it is mighty pretty and shoots like a dream.

9. Stroker – What can I say, it came from Palmer.

10. Piranha LB – This beauty usually gets my MicroCA. The SC feed is a bit ghetto w/ the ProTeam powerfeed, but it works.

11. Sydarm – I usually run this w/ my AGD 6-Pack. It is nice to go all AGD. If only it were easier to load. And, couldn’t the clip be 10 rounds?
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v307/shives/Paintball%20Guns/Sydarm.jpg

12. KP2 – When I got this, the stock was a bit chewed up. When a friend offered me a pristine new stock, I cut the old one down pistol style. I always had trouble shouldering the stock w/ goggles on. Now the pretty stock is just for show.

13. PGP – I got a handful of these from Paintball Sam’s in WI way back when. This one is the only one left, and has paid a visit to Palmer for a little love.

14. P68SC – Palmer installed a vert adapter so I can have my 12gr QC where I like it.

15. NitroNellie – Started life as an old (pre-007) Nelspot. Thanks to a dare from Bill Mills, it has mutated.

16. PMag -

17. Sovereign Mark III – Ever since I saw the first Sovs, I lusted after them. They were Cocker, but streamlined and more elegant. I have a Mark I out being fiddled w/ by Brad Q.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v307/shives/Paintball%20Guns/SovIII.jpg

18. Emag – I used to be completely against anything electro. But, that all changed when I handled an Emag. Even in Mech mode, the trigger was just too nice to pass up.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v307/shives/Paintball%20Guns/EMag.jpg

19. Rapide – Just picked this up recently. I managed to get a “clip” and a direct feed adapter. I found the “Gator” 12gr changer up in Canada years ago. Used to be in the Splatty, but I think it works better here.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v307/shives/Paintball%20Guns/Rapide.jpg

20. Outkast – This was supposed to become a Sniper. However, when I saw how pretty it was, and realized how expensive an SC feed would be, I just ordered an SS-25.

21. I also have a Sovereign Mark I that Brad Q is tinkering w/.

22. My VM68 ProComp is also w/ Brad.

Along w/ these, I have had pass through my hands (to the best of my recolection):
MicroMag
Traccer
BL Cocker
Mag
VM
Phantom
