I just started to play paintball and inherited an older 68 automag. Its in rough shape and has a home made drop and looks like its been tweaked in the past. I took it to bbt to get all the o-rings checked and all. I played with it last weekend and it used A LOT of air (400 balls and my 3000psi N2 tank was empty) the trigger is also messed up. I wanted to know if anyone could help me fix it ( new frame, trigger, valve) and keep it at a reasonable money level. thanks

check the buy sell trade post here in the AO forums a good upgrade would be an intelliframe and with a little shopping you may be able to pick a used in good shape for decent price also ebay sometimes has some decent deals but you do have to shop around there.

thanks hopefully the stuff i've picked up will help get my gun working correctly. I also want to see if there is a way to make a 68 automag electronic? and if so how?

try here Lukes Customs (http://www.lukescustoms.com/page0024.htm) or you can try to find a hyperframe or emag lowers to put on your mag

a hyperframe works well with the classic valve, however hyperframes can be unreliable at times in my experience, but if you can tinker with it (w/o breaking it) you should be good, but if you buy a hyperframe you will either need the center frame on off or ult.

What size tank? If its a 48ci then 400 shots is reasonable. If its a 68ci then you need to tune it up a bit.

The size will be stamped into the bottle somewhere.
