View Full Version : Shortening power feed?

Is there any reason not to shorten the power feed tube? I want to get the hopper closer to the gun. It looks like I could shorten it by at least 1/2" or maybe 3/4's, I haven't measured it in detail yet.
Comments? Advice?

Thanks
Rich

I did think about that. From what I've seen Luke does some very nice work. :D
I was going to wait until I could get a hold of a center feed body, and send that to him for a real feedneck.
I also considered putting on a ULE body, but I have a few twistlock barrels that I like. :)

I have a powerfeed warp body. basically the top and bottom of the PF tube are the same length. I have mounted a hopper to the top but it was a little unstable i would give it a little more than what is on the bottom if you decide to cut it down.

I figured on cutting it so that the elbow comes right down to the square hole, but not cover it. I'm not sure what the exact length would be, I'll have to do some measuring. :)
