Alright some of you may remember from a while ago about x-mag dissasembly. Well I did send it to A+ and heres the moment of truth for you to ponder upon. Im having issues with the board though, always says "low batt" no matter how long I charge so my board, battery or charger may be fried.

It started its life as a simple and beuitful 03 pewter C&C X-mag, pretty but a bit plain. I will now give you the before and after.

BEFORE:

congrats man. great anno. Very unique. I opened this and just saw a plain pewter anno and was like wtf, has someone lost their mind to pay for such a plain anno? glad you like

ps: i found that true daylight outdoor shots bring out the best color shots on guns

lol, thanks. I did the before and after type post and put the pewter one first because I knew people would flip over scrolling down and imediatly seeing just a plain pewter x-mag, then when you scroll down further it just adds the the surprise.

I really have to give it to A+ they did an outstanding job and are probably the best company ive ever worked with aside from AGD

one word for you, "lithium"

my camera eats alkalines faster than... well you getthe idea. If you are paying for the batteries yourself, lithiums will last considerably longer and if you do a cost analysis they come out on top.

BTW, really nice gun.

Funny ... over at M Carter Brown someone asked what anno they should do to their gun, and I suggested dripping blood. Man I love this anno. You need better pictures. The gun reminds me of a "Blood Mage" which is a magic user who gets power from the blood of his victims.

That is my favorite anno so far. It helps that red is my favorite color. Great job, it looks great.

Your board problem may actually be your noid. I had the same exact problem on a new Emag and sent it in for a new board only for them to find that it needed a noid.

Nice ano. Good color choices. A+ does quality work.

On the low battery signal, try making sure the board and the battery lugs are both grounded to 100% bare silver aluminum.

Since AGD saw fit to ground the E/XMags through the frame, if you don't get good contact with the aluminum at both spots, it will do wonky things. Problem is that Aluminum oxidizes so damned fast, plus in this case you had it reanodized, which likely means they didn't file or scratch off the ano at the contact points when they put it back together.

Just about every really weird E/XMag problem I've run across (electronics wise anyway) has been due to bad/insufficient/no grounding through the frame.

Nice thing is, that just a few strokes of a file can fix the issue.

I'd sure try that before I spent much money. :ninja:

Amazing anno man. Props to A+ on this.

Coolhand- well it was having this same problem before I got it re-anodized so I dont think grounding is the problem but ill check on it nonetheless.

Pics of mine to come in October! Similar acid wash scheme but in black/blue.

Okay, Ao...what do you think about a laser engraving of the AGD logo or the "Level 10 inside" emblem on the battery pack? I have the uncut battery pack btw. Or AGD logo on battery pack and Level X emblem on the body?
